Tern offers a 5-year warranty on frames, handleposts, and forks, which can be extended to 10 years by joining our Care Tern program within 30 days of purchase.
Do you offer international shipping for bikes and accessories?
While we ship accessories globally, complete bicycles are typically sold and fulfilled through our network of local authorized dealers to ensure proper assembly and safety tuning.
Can I install a child seat on my Tern GSD or HSD?
Yes, our cargo-focused models like the GSD and HSD are designed for family transport. They are compatible with various Thule Yepp seats and our proprietary passenger accessories.
What is your return policy for online accessory purchases?
Unused accessories in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
How often should I service my Tern folding mechanism?
We recommend a professional safety check every 6 months. You should also regularly clean the joints and ensure the OCL or FBL frame joints are adjusted to the correct tension as per the owner's manual.
